The Nora Collection, shown in Cinnamon Brown semi aniline top grain Italian leather (Swatch# 3517 Cinnamon), is also available in custom colors. The Nora is available in sofa, loveseat, accent arm chair and ottoman. The Nora Collection is Classic Retro. From the square features to the large retro square arm, it will captivate in any environment. The leather is colored thru and thru and does possess a light protective coat of polyurethane finish on the surface of the leather. There are distinct variations in this leather including color variation and all of the natural markings. Color variation and grain variations between each piece and sometimes within the same piece are possible. These are natural characteristics and should not be considered defects. The leather is buttery soft and has a vintage old world, antiqued effect. This leather is one of the most luxurious leather’s in the entire leather collection. Most common household stains can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap if addressed within minutes of the spill, spot or stain.

The wooden frame on this collection is composed of Beech wood and Ash. Woods are selected at source and seasoned for a minimum of 2 years to ensure long term durability. All of the corners and load bearing areas are additionally secured with heavy duty corner blocks for strength and durability. Upon completion of the construction of the frame, we encase the entire structure. One inch of foam is attached around the frame before upholstery so that when you touch the sides and backs you notice a firm/soft sensation.

Heavy duty nine gauge sinuous steel “S” shaped springs are fastened to the top and front rail with heavy duty clips and run from front to back of the piece 2 inches apart. Two steel rods are used to hold the springs in place which offers additional durability to the seating area, both on the front and the back of each individual seat. A canvas barrier is attached between the foam and the steel springs to protect the foam from wear. Five steel springs per seat to ensure the strength, comfort and durability of the foam cushion core. Two solid wooden stretchers run front to back to stabilize and strengthen the frame against the tension of the steel sinuous springs. Each individual seat cushion contains a matrix of individually wrapped coil springs encased in a specifically designed foam shell that is covered in Dacron fiber. The fabric pocket used allows each spring to slide up and down independently of it’s neighbors allowing for maximum comfort for more than one person on the sofa.

Seat cushions are composed of polyurethane foam cores with a high quality Dacron topper on the surface for comfort. Back cushions are composed of Dacron fiber blown in to vertically and horizontally channeled bags. Back cushions are fixed, seat cushions are loose.
