Fusing Japanese woodworking techniques with Scandinavian design sensibilities, Copenhagen’s Ferm Living offers a handsome and versatile low-slung bench. Oblique takes its name from the tilted angles of the few, yet perfectly placed, elements of its construction in solid oak with either a natural or black oiled finish. It also shines as an elegant platform for books, plants or art objects or just a seat for putting on and taking off shoes in a hallway.
