Inspired by Brazilian mid-century design and Afra & Tobia Scarpa’s iconic Monk chair, Bacana highlights material beauty with exposed hardware and fabric ties.Each piece features FSC-certified thermal ash, outdoor reticulated foam, and cushions upholstered in Bananatex®—a biodegradable fabric made from banana leaf fibers. All frame and upholstery production takes place within a 10-mile radius in High Point, NC, supporting U.S. labor and reducing our carbon footprint.
